EuroWindoor adopted in the last Directing Council meeting on July 7th, 2017 in Stockholm the Guidance Sheet KB.01: 2017-07 “Power operated Windows” .
EuroWindoor takes account, that building technology relies more and more heavily on power-operated equipment. Power operation causes a higher risk of potential hazards which need to be eliminated by appropriate precautions. This Guidance Sheet supports the manufacturer of windows and provides a code of practice with approaches to technical solutions and information on how to use power-operated windows, aiming to help making window operation safe without major risks.
