Brussels, November 2025 – EuroWindoor had the honour to welcome Mr Manfred Fuchs from DG GROW H.1 in its Directing Council meeting for an exchange on the implementation of the Construction Products Regulation (CPR) and the Technical Acquis process.
The in-depth discussions with Mr Fuchs focused on Assessment and Verification Systems, the tasks of Notified Bodies and the introduction of the Digital Product Passport, as well as on key topics of the draft Standardisation Request for doors, windows, shutters, gates, and related building hardware, including the fast-track procedure for glass and its impact on product and safety requirements.
Following the fruitful conversation with Mr Fuchs, participants continued with an intensive agenda covering EuroWindoor’s large working program. Discussions covered upcoming delegated acts under the new CPR, progress in standardisation, EuroWindoor’s commitment to the circular economy, ongoing research on the Window Energy Balance and preparations for the EuroWindoor Daylight Conference at glasstec 2026.
With many important issues ahead, EuroWindoor is pleased to see its members actively engaged and committed to shaping the future of the European window, door and façade sector.
